CHA==For all of us Crafters.

I am so excited, The CHA Craft and Hobby association starts tomorrow and I will be there via the Charity Wings Organization WWW.Charitywings.org via thier online link. You can still be there and get a goodie bag check out the advertisement a few post's down. Or you can just watch and see all the new lines for this year. I have my supplies I received for the 5 make and takes laid out ready to go, got my work area cleaned up and have the link room already saved to my bookmark so its one stop shopping tomorrow. I even have some flair from Charity wings to wear. Best thing about this is the cost. 48.00 and I dont even have to get dressed if I don't want to.

One more day.

One more day and then I can get down to some serious playing with my crafty stuff.
CHA is this weekend and i got in on the Charity orgs. deal so will be doing some make and takes on sat. Sunday going to my friends house to do some viewing of whats going on there.

I can't belive I am up at this time

Darn dogs decided to wake me up so they could go potty. Now I am up for a bit. Thought I would post a bit here then head back to bed. Its still cold and we have a snow flurry prediction from the Weather man. Hope it doesn't take as long as yesterday(2 hours for a 35 min drive) to get to work. Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Cricut Your Story and Design Studio

Woohoooooo It arrived. I Have new toys to play with. www.Cricutmachine.com had a wonderful sale (well the design studio was I could have went to HSN and got the Your Story with more covers in different colors and sizes for the same price. 24.99) I will be trying these out this weekend. I went to several blog hops today Happy Birthday Jess from Kinderstamp0 and Angelica from Market Street Stamps.

Well I came home last night and did a layout for the SEI winter challenge, made a card for the Really Reasonable Ribbon challenge which I can also submit to Paper Playtime for their challenge. MLK Day

Unfortunately I have to work, I can tell it is really cold out and I am not looking forward to stepping outside. I Loved the blog hops I took part in this weekend esp. Alex's birthday part one. Now its on to more challenges and taking part in KinderstampO's birthday celebration. I have learned so much from here these past 17 days. There are 17 more days left until her party.

Blog Hops

I really had fun at Alex's birthday blog hop today was a great ustream live portion this afternoon. There were quite a few of the ladies whose blogs i follow. The are all great crafters and have taken the time to show and teach the newbies like me how to hone our craft. The live portion showed us just how funny they can be esp when they are together with crafting friends. WTG Alex and all the ladies that joined you on your hop.

Had dinner with friends from school last night, dang ended up not blogging. Oh well I posted twice on Thursday Ya think I can count one of those for Friday? Off to stroll through blog land and see what I can find to play with.

New Card

I have a co-worker that closed on her very first house today. I made this card to celebrate. Haven't found a challenge that I could submit it for but that's the reason I took photo's. I didn't have a sketch I had the sentiment in my head and remembered I had the stamp at home (Joanne's clearance for .50 cents it has a quote to go with it and a row of hearts.) Enjoy

Snow

Back at work

.      One of my New year resolutions was to make more Albums as I am most definitely a card maker. They say take baby steps I think this qualifies.

Happy Birthday

Even though I know my mom will not see this I wanted to post a Happy Birthday shout out to her today.
Bouts of normalcy vs bouts of fever have been with me since Monday.  Not a good thing but during the normal times I am putting together some card kits I had purchased long ago and found when moving stock into the craft room.  I actually added a profile picture it is of my pug Lady Lucy Lu. She is my sleeping buddy any time whether I am sick or not. We have 2 other pugs Ashur and Pugman who also don't mind sleeping at anytime day or night.

As you can see I love flowers and bling. This card uses some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist to color the flowers and the base card.

January 4th

So far so good. Still keeping my resolution to blog everyday alive.  Got some stamps from Unity yesterday, since i am still home today I think I will try and play with them. Maybe post a picture or 2 of my results.

Whats new

What is new with everyone? So far I have been able to keep my resolution of blogging everyday. I am home sick today so not going to be too creative. Hope everyone is well and has a good day.

Organizing

I was so glad to see that Michael's had 40% off on Making Memories organizing cubes and a 25% off total order coupon good only Jan. 1.  I was lucky enough to get a gift card to Michael's for Christmas and took advantage of the coupon got another cube and some more paper and a birthday stamp, Was up early this morning all my cubes are now together and through out the day I will be emptying all my tote bags that had my tools, paper, stamps, etc.. in them.
