First attempt at Repurposing/Altering/New years resolutions

I started with a small 2009 calendar

It is now a very mini album big enough to put a school picture in

.      One of my New year resolutions was to make more Albums as I am most definitely a card maker. They say take baby steps I think this qualifies.

Happy Birthday

Even though I know my mom will not see this I wanted to post a Happy Birthday shout out to her today.
Bouts of normalcy vs bouts of fever have been with me since Monday.  Not a good thing but during the normal times I am putting together some card kits I had purchased long ago and found when moving stock into the craft room.  I actually added a profile picture it is of my pug Lady Lucy Lu. She is my sleeping buddy any time whether I am sick or not. We have 2 other pugs Ashur and Pugman who also don't mind sleeping at anytime day or night.

As you can see I love flowers and bling. This card uses some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist to color the flowers and the base card.

January 4th

So far so good. Still keeping my resolution to blog everyday alive.  Got some stamps from Unity yesterday, since i am still home today I think I will try and play with them. Maybe post a picture or 2 of my results.

Whats new

What is new with everyone? So far I have been able to keep my resolution of blogging everyday. I am home sick today so not going to be too creative. Hope everyone is well and has a good day.

Organizing

I was so glad to see that Michael's had 40% off on Making Memories organizing cubes and a 25% off total order coupon good only Jan. 1.  I was lucky enough to get a gift card to Michael's for Christmas and took advantage of the coupon got another cube and some more paper and a birthday stamp, Was up early this morning all my cubes are now together and through out the day I will be emptying all my tote bags that had my tools, paper, stamps, etc.. in them.
